Dermal Fillers (Hydrafill®)

Dermal fillers can be used to plump up fine lines, wrinkles, some scarring, and augment the lips by restoring volume and definition. They are used to “rejuvenate the skin”.

Dermal fillers are made from a variety of materials. Some are a natural material derived from collagen and some are synthetically produced. All fillers must meet the requirements of the Medical Devices Directive.

The results of the fillers are usually seen within a couple of hours. The lines and wrinkles are softened, the lips can be plumped up and given more definition. The degree of correction is dependent on your wishes and the amount of product used. Results are also dependent on a patient's skin type and facial structure, your life style and your own perception.
