Meet the Team

Our dentists are Craig Parker, Thomas Meneaud and James Holt. They are members of the British Dental Association and Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Craig Parker BChD MFGDP(UK) DPDS PG Cert (Dental Implantology) GDC No: 64958

Craig has been involved in surgical dentistry for over 25 years. He is President of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK) where he has been on the national board for over 3 years.
Craig has been actively involved in the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) at the Royal College of Surgeons where he was on the board of examiners for over 10 years and he was elected to the national board where he served for 3 years. He has trained and continues to work with some of the most respected Implantologists in the world including Professor Buser at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He is a member, accredited mentor and speaker with the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Craig’s special interest is in digital workflow in dental implantology: using ultra-precision digital treatment planning, 3D radiographic imaging, digital intra-oral scanning, computer guided surgery and CAD-CAM technology to achieve predictably beautiful results. Dental implantologists regularly visit Primley Park Dentistry from all over the UK for advanced training in digital treatment techniques in implant dentistry. He regularly lectures to various study groups and diploma and MSc programmes in the UK and occasionally at national and international dental congresses.

Thomas Meneaud – BDS GDC No: 82157

Thomas Meneaud joined Primley Park Dentistry in 2007 as a partner and principal dentist. Originally qualifying in Liverpool in 2003,he has since completed Royal College of Surgeons exams as well as undertaking postgraduate studies both in this country and abroad.

Thomas has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry, complex restorative treatments and orthodontic treatment using the Invisalign® system. He is an Associate Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In his pursuit of excellence, Thomas has completed many hours of advanced training in modern aesthetic dentistry procedures. He has also been trained in and regularly uses digital oral scanners to assist the production of the highest quality work. He has spent time mentoring and speaking to other dentists on this subject and takes referrals in this area.

His calm, caring attitude means that he excels at treating nervous patients and children.

Thomas is an active member of the local dental committee, and is a previous Chairman of Leeds and District British Dental Association. Thomas is currently the Yorkshire Regional Representative for the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Outside of work he likes to spend time with his wife and two children. He has travelled extensively and enjoys cooking, running, biking, and most other sports.

Thomas says:

James Holt BDS (hons) MFDS RCSEd GDC No: 79262

We are delighted to welcome James Holt to Primley Park Dentistry. James has taken over the care of Dr Malcolm Meneaud’s patients after he retired in February 2017.
James, originally from Wigan, moved to Glasgow in 1996 to study dentistry. Qualifying in 2001 James spent a year completing vocational training before returning to Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in 2002. Here James worked as a senior house office in a rotational post covering many aspects of dentistry and gaining the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. In 2005 James joined a dental practice in Edinburgh where he spent the next 11 years.
James is committed to continuing professional education, regularly attending courses to ensure his patients receive care with the most up to date materials and techniques. James is an associate member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Association of Dental Implantology. His clinical interests involve aesthetic and restorative dentistry especially restoring the older, worn dentition. He is a firm believer in preventative dentistry, tailoring advice to meet patient’s specific needs and reducing the need for invasive treatment.
Outside of dentistry James likes to spend time with his wife and two young daughters. He spends any spare time cycling and enjoys cooking.

Joanna Hobson MInstLM

Our practice is managed by Joanna Hobson, our Practice Business Manager. Joanna is qualified in business management and leadership holding ILM Level 5 Diplomas and has many years’ experience in managing and developing all aspects of private health care. Joanna is also our Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission and is responsible for ensuring that all regulated activities within the practice are met to the required standard. Joanna is passionate about providing an excellent customer experience for all of our clients and is constantly looking at ways to improve our service. Outside of work Joanna’s hobbies include fell walking and running, and she is often taking part in competitive events.

Sarah Hartley Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy GDC 202754

Sarah initially worked as a Dental Technician before completing her training as a Dental Hygienist & Dental Therapist at Leeds Dental Institute in 2010. She then joined the Primley Park team in 2011.

As a Dental Hygienist Sarah believes in prevention rather than cure.  Dental hygiene is an integral part of our patients overall dental care.

Sarah’s interests lie in all aspects of dental health education and preventative dentistry.  She is committed to helping all her patients achieve the best oral health possible by delivering treatment in a comfortable, empathetic and relaxed way.

This means Sarah takes time to get to know her patients, understand their lifestyles and come up with a dental routine that’s going to work for them.

Committed to post graduate education, Sarah continually furthers her knowledge and skills.  As a member of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapist she attends regular courses and events which enable her to provide the best possible treatment and care for her patients.

Sarah has also undertaken an additional training course for tooth whitening, which she has a great passion for, and she has recently started treating patients on a “direct access” basis.

In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends.  She also likes to keep active, and enjoys regular swims and a good game of squash.

Marta Ogrodnik – GDC No. 142592

Marta qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2001 in Poland where she worked for 4 years before moving to the UK with her husband.
When Marta first moved to the UK, she worked as a Dental Nurse and then she transferred her Dental Hygienist qualification in 2013 and has since worked as a Dental Hygienist at several practices in the surrounding area.
Marta takes great pride in her work to provide good Oral Hygiene advice and care throughout routine and active treatment. She aims to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for all of her patients.
When Marta isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Nursing team

Our experienced team of dental nurses play a vital role in the practice and are responsible for maintaining the strict infection control procedures that ensure our patients and practice team are suitably protected. Their chairside support to both the dentists and our patients helps create a peaceful and pleasurable experience for all.

We have 6 nurses in the practice, all of whom are fully qualified and registered with the General Dental Council. Liz GDC No: 105882 is our Lead Nurse; Nicola GDC No: 119083, Sue GDC No: 123522, Claire GDC No:237386, Becca GDC No: 256315 and Jacquie GDC NO: 127841

Administration team

Our administration team is made up of 2 highly experienced receptionists, Alex and Anna who both have excellent customer service skills and are able to assist our patients in all aspect of patient care. Alex has recently achieved NVQs in customer service, business administration, team leadership and sales, and Anna is currently undertaking her AAT accountancy examinations. Anna is new to our team and we will be updating our photos as soon as possible.
