Hi, I am James, and I qualified in Glasgow in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery, with honors.

 

Following my primary dental qualification, I trained with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Edinburgh and gained my post graduate MFDS (Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery).

 

Since then, and with an interest in dental phobia and anxiety, I have completed my PgDip in Conscious Sedation, allowing me to offer calming and relaxing sedation treatments to my patients here at the practice, and to other patients in the Yorkshire regions when referred to me by my colleagues.

 

I have a particular interest in complex restorative treatments and often work closely with Craig completing his implant restorations, especially full mouth implant fixed and removable teeth. I also take great professional satisfaction when dealing with and restoring the looks and function of patients with severe worn teeth, providing full occlusal rehabilitation. 

 

Outside of work I enjoy climbing, paddle boarding and fly fishing, when not busy running around after my two daughters.
