Hi, I am Katie, and I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2018 with distinction. I hold the qualifications of bachelor’s and master’s degrees of Dental Surgery, and a bachelor’s degree in Oral Science.

 

I have completed several courses since leaving university, including those providing me with more in-depth knowledge of occlusion, endodontics, complete & partial dentures, composite restorations, and oral surgery. I have recently completing further training enabling me to prescribe and take cone beam CT scans here at the practice.

 

In the future I am hoping to complete further study and post-graduate qualifications in endodontics and restorative dentistry.

 

Clinically I enjoy providing a wide range of dental treatments including root canals, composite restorations, crowns, and dentures. I especially enjoy those that relieve patients from pain and improve their self-confidence and ability to chew. I like getting to know my patients and to take my time, especially when working with those who are dentally anxious. 

 

Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, walking my golden retriever, going to the theatre, and spending time with my family & friends.
